17/23 people in our class liked the book Sam and Dave Dig a Hole

better than The Numberlys.  We think it won because it’s funny and there are lots of questions to ask. Our wonders are if they come to a different house when they were falling? Were they just looking for a bone or the gems? Why was the fruit different when they got back up to the surface? How did they fall from the sky when the dog was digging down through the earth?
