Machines -Go to Work in the City

Summary

This non-fiction book is about large machines that are used in a city to help with everyday jobs or emergencies.  In this story we learn about how different machines work and what they do.
The machines often do jobs that are too dangerous or too big for people but that still need to get done.

Opinion 

21/28 students in our class liked this book and would read it again.  They would also recommend it to a friend or family member.
The main thing we liked about this book is that it has large flaps that you can flip to learn and see more information.  Our class appreciated that this was a teaching book and that many of the students learned something new about working machines in the city.
The illustrations were very artistic and looked like realistic paintings.
