This story is a wordless story.
It is about a girl that is a slave that is traveling in the Underground Railroad.
One morning some slavers came to the Underground Railroad, and walked by the girl.
They didn't notice her with an animal.
She returned to the Underground Railroad.
When she returned she fed the chickens/rooster
The girl saw a women standing outside a door.
She heard a noise and ran into her little hiding spot in a barn,and in the barn was a pile of corn that she hid in.
When she thought that she was safe she came out to ask for food.
They gave her a fresh piece of bread in a checkered cloth.
After she left the kind lady made a little doll.
The next day some men came...they were looking for the girl!!!!!!
The kind women and man said nothing, because they wanted to protect the girl.
Those men at the door were convinced so...they left.
After that the lady gave her the doll and he reached freedom

ReplyDeleteI really liked this book because there were so many things to figure out. I liked how it looked like it was a picture taken in he olden days. The story was so exciting!!!!!!!!!! I loved it sooooo much
