This book is about a pen that when people try to write something with it something silly comes up. When Uncle Flood's nephew tries to draw with the pen the pen lets him draw. Maybe he is a drawing pen.
My Opinion: I liked it when the pen was acting silly with the grown ups and being nice to the little boy because I think he doesn't want to make little kids sad. If I were the pen I would be nice to everyone instead of being silly - even to grown ups.
