This story is about a pen that is doing silly things.  Uncle Flood wrote THE FOLLOWING STORY  IS ALL TRUE but the pen wrote something else that was funny and silly so he trys again.  Uncle Flood trys again but again it wrote something  that was funny and silly again.  He  says ''if you don't work this time I'll will throw you in the garage''.  It  writes  something that was funny and silly again so Uncle Flood throws him outside.  It was in officer  Wonkle's  hands so he try ed to write with it three times but it never worked so he threw it away.  Mrs. Norkham Pigeon Smythe's finds the pen so uses it  in a party then puts it in a nice, strong case.  While everyone was asleep the pen somehow finds a way to escape.  It looks everywhere when in the morning it goes to  Uncle Flood's nephew.
