Z is for ...Moose by Kelly Bingham and Paul O. Zelinsky

Z is for ... Moose by Kelly Bingham and Paul O. Zelinsky

Summary

This book is an alphabet book. It is teaching about the letters of the alphabet with a lot of humour.  The story has a zebra in charge of making sure the letters are in the correct order and the animals or objects that start with that letter are on the right page.  However, a problem arises when the moose can't wait his turn and shows up on almost every page.  The zebra starts to get frustrated with the moose and replaces him with a mouse on the M page.  The moose gets angry and starts to to wreck the other pages.  Then the moose gets very sad and the zebra decides to let him help with the last page.

Opinion

28/29 people in our class liked the book and would recommend it to others to read. Our favourite part was how the whole book was so funny.  The moose did and said silly things on almost every page.  He tried to take over the alphabet book from the zebra.  The illustrations were bright and colourful drawings that made the story interesting.  The actual text played an important role.  The font of the alphabet letter was larger and a different colour then the rest of the sentence. This made us pay attention to each letter.
