There was a old family who  helped the girl  to hide from the men! The old family gave food every day and at the end the girl got a little doll from them. When she was doing her chores she heard the men at the house, The men held a wanted poster that said ( WANTED ESCAPED) and the family said"I don't know what you are taking about, there's  no slave around here!" they bravely  told the men. 1. I really like the book because it has no words and you can figure out what the story means. I liked the whole story but it did get a little confusing. My favorite part was when the girl was free and had a nice home! I would recommend this book to a friend.
