Summary: Finding Winnie was a heart warming story about a boy and a bear who become friends. We liked it because it was a true event and because the guy had a big heart because he thought more about Winnie's happiness and not his. Winnie is a really cute cub and she is really smart. She knows how to do some tricks to practice during the first world war. Shy is a wonderful book and she likes to hide in book pages even though she is a giraffe. Shy's favourite books are about birds but she has never seen a bird in real life.

Winner: We thought Finding Winnie should win because it is a very good book and won the Caldecott medal. We think this book is off the charts and the illustrations were really realistic. We gave this book a rating of 10/10!
