Summary for Cloth Lullaby : While reading the book we felt sad because someone she loved left her alone. Some pages of the book were exciting and others were sad. The art was very different for example the water/river was in lines. Michelle cuevus was playing with his words at one point there was a tent and she put the letters on the tent. When she showed stars it made us think about music because of the way they were drawn. We think this book was good.
Summary for The Uncorker of the Ocean Bottles: The story is about a lonely man. Just like Cloth lullaby this story is also upsetting but at the end the uncorker made friends before he thought he smelled like dead fish or a fisherman. He wondered if he would ever be able to get a letter from ANYONE he though it would never be possible but little did he know that a new friend will invite him. The art was also awesome. I wonder if people know people like the Uncorker.
winner The Uncorker of the Ocean Bottles :We chose this book as the winner because he is nice to everyone and it is a heartwarming book. It is the Uncorker's first time to have a letter but he needs to know who gave the invitation so he goes around trying to discover who sent it. Everyone in our group voted for this one and we gave it a rating of 10/10.
